Well, here we are again looking and gaining insight on different ideas,thoughts and perspectives . Here is something that I have been thinking about. I am on a social web site trying to gain friends and promote my blog and other writings.I have a lot of friends on this site .Some say that they want a relationship but have hundreds of friends. Some are just looking to see if they can get with as many women as they want. Some turn out to be just cyber friends that check in on me to make sure that I am keeping up with my writing. Not to long ago a man asked to be added to my friend list. I added him and when I tell ya he is an awesome man he is almost the perfect man even for me. He is attractive, hard working, articulate, loves animals,music and can cook. He is online looking for love. I am really impressed that he can admit that is what he wants. Now in talking to him (online) I tried to do my best to pick everything apart. I asked him if he was worried about the risk of meeting someone online and he told me that there is a risk even if you meet someone at the grocery store.....touche'!! I really enjoy talking to him and the strange thing is when I don't hear from him I miss him. (Go figure) I am a woman who likes to talk so I listen to the words that people say and I can pretty much get it. (If you know what I mean) This guy is making me rethink my position of dating online. Some do it because they don't get to go out much because of work. Some are just taking the position and saying ( Why not?) Now there are lots of social networks out there that promote love online. You can meet someone and find love so they say. I, being a single woman have not tried it. I did meet someone online and we emailed and talked just about everyday. We never talked about meeting we did however exchange numbers. One day I was minding my own business and guess what happened? Yes ,we ran into each other.What are the chances of that happening? To make a long story short. we are now very good friends . No, it was not creepy but here is the thing,if he had asked to meet me what would I have said? I don't know. Question: are you willing to search for love on line? If you were me would you meet and try to build something with a person that you met on line?
